The NOR Double Nightstand is a wide bedside cabinet crafted from solid oak. The design draws from the modernist furniture movement of the late 1930s and early 1940s and was developed as a larger companion to the NOR and St Lucia beds.
Its wider footprint provides two drawers and an open shelf, offering generous bedside storage while maintaining the material character and carved detailing found throughout the NOR collection. The piece also works naturally with the Paloma collection, which shares the same commitment to solid oak construction and modernist lineage.
The frame and body are constructed from kiln-dried solid oak. Internal panels use commercial-grade plywood to reduce wood movement and prevent splitting over time.
The nightstand includes two drawers and an open shelf with rear wire access for lamps or charging devices. Drawer boxes are made from solid mahogany with English dovetail joinery and Hettich soft-close slides. Drawer fronts are crafted from solid oak.
All visible wood surfaces are finished in Modern Oak multi-step lacquer by Akzo Nobel.
Crafted in Indonesia by furniture makers experienced in solid hardwood construction.
